The wires are pre-stretched already to prevent an after stretching on the bike and a resulting inaccurate shifting or brake.
31S superior shine 31 twisted steel wires for high tensile forces and reliability. These wires are for particular long and/or highly demanded cable layings.
A new surface on the wire reduces the friction, even among those of Teflon® coated cables. These are therefore particularly smooth.
The wires are pre-stretched already to prevent an after stretching on the bike and a resulting inaccurate shifting or brake.
The electroplating coating reduces corrosion and thus increasing the durability of the cable wire.
